Can my story be shared on your website?

Only if you’d like it to be. Your legacy book is private and belongs to you and your family. But, some people want their story to reach further. One of my first clients has no family left to pass her story on to. She chose to share her legacy book here, so that her life, her lessons and her wisdom have a home, and can touch people she’ll never meet. If that feels right for you, I’d be honored to give your story a place here too. You can also choose to share it using only your first name.

Can I give this as a gift?

Yes. Many families arrange this as a gift for a parent, grandparent or partner. You can book and pay on their behalf, and we’ll begin with an Exploratory Conversation so your loved one feels comfortable, and the story always remains theirs to tell.

How do I know which offering is right for me?

Let's have a real conversation. During a 30-minute Exploratory Conversation we'll talk about your vision, whether you'd like to capture the essentials or go deep, and whether we're the right fit to work together. No pressure.

What will my finished legacy book look like?

Your stories are woven into a beautiful, thoughtfully designed e-book, with photos and visuals if you'd like them. You can print it yourself, or share it electronically with family near and far. Something your family can treasure for generations.

Will I see my stories before the book is finished?

Yes. Every story is passed back to you for your final say. Nothing goes into your book without your blessing.

What's the difference between The Touchstone and The Heirloom?

The Touchstone captures the essential chapters of your life over five sessions: the turning points, the people who shaped you and the wisdom you've gathered. The Heirloom goes deeper over twelve sessions, exploring the nuances, relationships, struggles and the full texture of a life fully lived.

What happens in the first session?

We lay the foundations of your story. If you’d like, family and friends can join us at the beginning to share a few words that describe you, along with memories and stories they’d love to see included. This gives me a rich starting point and makes sure nothing precious is missed. If you’d rather begin on your own, that’s completely fine. Many people choose to do this as a personal journey.

Can I arrange this for a parent or someone I love?

Yes. I can walk alongside you or your loved one, gently asking questions, listening deeply and following the threads of their story. Many families choose this as a way to make sure a loved one's stories are never lost.

Do I need to prepare anything before we begin?

No. There is no need to prepare a memoir or know what to say. You simply bring your life. I'll help bring the stories, memories and wisdom out.

Is there flexibility with the number of sessions if I need more?

Yes. You can choose your preferred package, and if we need to add on more sessions, this can easily be accommodated.

Can we meet more or less often than weekly?

Yes, the frequency of sessions is flexible. We'll discuss this upfront and agree upon a cadence that feels comfortable.
